What is Positive Thinking?

Positive Thinking is the art of looking onto the brighter side of things in spite of unfavorable situations in life. There is always something to feel happy about. Positive thinking is to search for pleasure every time and in everything.
What do you get by thinking positively? You get the energy and encouragement to fulfill your ambitions and reach your goals. Our optimism towards our future will not only make our present happier but we also see our dreams becoming a reality.

Positive thinking can be practiced with will and with simple techniques. This article  is written to help you change your state of mind to optimism and make your path easier towards your desired destiny.

Life is like an ocean. It has crests and troughs.

In all walks of life it is the attitude that determines our strength. History is evident of many successful people who in spite of hardships have reached their goals due to their will power and positive thinking. Two students might fail in an exam. One might take it as a challenge and work harder next time to achieve what he desires, but the other might get depressed and become a dull student.

Whenever you have problems, try to think of those who have many other troubles in life. Whenever bad things happen in life, imagine how worse things could have been. Tough times are only phases in life that everyone has to pass through. But it is for sure that they have a time span. One has to be patient.

It is in no one’s hands to control the outcome of any situation. But, what we can control is the reaction towards it.

Life is full of surprise tests. Be prepared for them. Keep your mind open. When one thinks only about the problem, self-pity dominates the thoughts. In such situations you think “why me”? Come out of such unwise thoughts. Everyone is a victim of unfavorable situations sooner or later in life. Instead take the issue as an opportunity. An opportunity to prove yourself. Think only about the possible solution. What best can be done right now?

Way might be rocky. But, be happy that there is one.

Has life always been the same? The answer is “no”. This is true for everybody. There have been moments of happiness and also of sadness. Now it might be the second phase. But there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Only thing is that the tunnel might be a bit longer. End is always there, but it might be out of sight.

Life is neither a bed of roses nor a bed of thorns -it is what we make it of. There might be confusions but, they can be solved only with the open minds. Whether you want to be happy or sad, the choice is yours.

All the successful people have faced hurdles before they have reached what they want. Remember that you are a failure only when you think you are.

Life sometimes seems like an unpleasant journey. Nothing happens as planned. What should one do in such a situation? Is there anything in our hands to change this situation? If so, act towards it. If not, think optimistically, just keep your calm . Wait for the time to pass. As they say, time heels all wounds. But, definitely this sorrow will pass away.
